Paper Circuitry and 21st Century Notebooking

You may not be able to tell by these pictures, but these unique name plates light up!  

5th grade students at Heritage Elementary are engaging in 21st Century Notebooking skills, also known as Paper Circuitry.  Integrating writing across the content, 21st Century Notebooking fosters ingenuity of thought, creativity, collaboration, problem-solving skills and writing, to bring paper to life! In continuation of building these circuits, students worked to articulate their thinking on paper synthesizing their rationale of the incorporation of the Scientific Method and the ways in which they may or may not have struggled during the process and completion of this task.
